Narrative
OKMULGEE CO., OK – An elderly woman died Saturday from injuries sustained earlier this week in a two-vehicle collision in north-central Okmulgee County.
The accident happened Tuesday at the intersection of US-75 and 266th Street near Winchester, which is about 28 miles south of Tulsa.
Police say that a southbound vehicle collided with a northbound vehicle when the driver of the former car initiated a left turn without yielding right of way.
The driver of the southbound vehicle, identified as Glenda S. Ward, succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
Medics transported the other driver to the hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
