Narrative
BRYAN CO., OK – A driver died Saturday from injuries sustained in two-vehicle collision along a major highway in Bryan County.
The incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. along the Caddo Highway near Armstrong and Durant. This is north of the Oklahoma and Texas state line.
Police say that the unidentified driver of an eastbound Mercedes-Benz entered the wrong side of the highway and struck a Chevrolet Silverado.
The unrestrained driver of the Mercedes became pinned in his vehicle and died at the scene.
The driver of the Chevy, who was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, went to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
