Narrative

MCCURTAIN CO., OK – One teen died, and two other teens sustained injuries Saturday in a major crash in rural McCurtain County.

Shortly after 2 a.m., emergency crews responded to Cow Xing Road between Goodwater Road and N4770. This is south of Little River and southeast of the city of Broken Bow.

Police say that 18-year-old Korey Nnokam was a passenger in a vehicle that crashed along Cow Xing Road for unknown reasons. Authorities pronounced Nnokam deceased at the scene of the accident.

Both the 19-year-old driver and an 18-year-old passenger required hospitalization, though police have not commented on the nature of their injuries.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
