Narrative
LEFLORE CO., OK – Two adults died late Monday morning in a major collision along the highway in southwestern LeFlore County.
The accident happened shortly after 11 a.m. on US-82 on the northwest side of Talihina. This is about 140 miles southeast of Tulsa.
Police say that 80-year-old James R. Alford struck both a pedestrian and an unoccupied truck along the highway.
Both Alford and the pedestrian, identified as 26-year-old Jaden C. Jackson, died at the scene.
There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the wreck, but a full investigation is underway.
