Narrative
BECKHAM CO., OK – A minivan and an 18-wheeler collided along a Beckham County highway on Thursday, killing one person and injuring at least one other.
The accident happened on OK-152 near Elk City, which is west of Oklahoma City and north of Carter.
Police haven’t shared any details about what might have caused a Toyota Sienna and a 2009 Peterbilt semi to collide.
One of three passengers in the Toyota, 61-year-old Bailing Sun, died at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.
Medics transported the driver of the Toyota to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the accident.
